Accessibility

Our commitment

Argu wants everyone, including people with disabilities, to be able to use this website comfortably and independently. We work to make the site accessible in line with the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Accessibility Adjustments for Service) Regulations, 2013, section 35, and Israeli Standard IS 5568 part 1, which is based on WCAG 2.0 level AA.

What we have done

  • A "skip to content" link at the top of every page.
  • Full keyboard navigation, with a clear outline around the focused element.
  • Text alternatives for images, so screen readers can describe them.
  • Clear names for links and buttons that show only an icon.
  • Labels on form fields, so it is clear what each field asks for.
  • The page language and text direction are declared, so screen readers pronounce content correctly.
  • Page regions and the current menu item are marked for quick screen reader navigation.
  • Screen reader notice when a link opens in a new window.
  • Marked header cells in data tables.
  • An accessibility menu on the side of the screen for larger text, higher contrast and stopping animations.
  • A layout that adapts to desktop, tablet and mobile.

Browsers tested

The site was tested in Chrome on desktop and in a mobile view. We recommend using an up to date browser.

Known limitations

We keep improving the site, and some parts may not yet be fully accessible, for example content embedded from third party services, such as videos and maps. If you run into one, contact us and we will provide the information in another accessible way.
